Knightside - Prototype
KNIGHTSIDE is a tactical puzzle RPG, drawing inspiration from classic roguelites.
Explore the wild, fight or flee from monsters and find or buy better equipment, each piece of which will dramatically change your capabilities.
During combat, you can always see how enemies will respond to your move before you commit. The enemies work together to trap you in bad situations, so you'll need to plan ahead!
This is a prototype. Try it out (it's free!) and let us know what you think.

how do i buy stuff at the shop
You'll get a buy button when you tap on the item, if you have enough gold. If you don't have enough gold, you'll just see the "INFO" and "CANCEL" buttons on tap.
Very enjoyable, keep up the good work!
everything works well on the game play side of things and the enemy's work really well two
Ultra fun! Love the different enemy behaviors, aesthetic, and music! Well done. Will be looking out for the full game when you're done :D

Thanks Amazing Job !!!
Whoa baby this game is very good. Btw, uh, any tips for this monstrosity? The bats always wreck me, and I have no idea how to get rid of cultists very easily.
Thanks!
I haven't figured out a way to do this one with the starting equipment without taking a hit:
For crowded levels like this one, when there's a choice, try to eliminate most of a specific kind of monster, which will lead to more safe spaces to take advantage of.
Throwing your spear where you can pick it up on the next turn is usually a good move. If you throw it further or have to move away and can't get back to it quickly, you're probably in danger.
The early elites are very hard until you get some extra gear, but the payoff is worthwhile if you can avoid losing too much health.
Cultists are easiest with the spear, but you may need to waste a turn bashing to get them spaced right - once you break up their formations you can often kill several in a row.
i love it! any chess or strategy lover should definitly give this game a shot
